Whether it be its pervasive commitment to animal protection (wildlife seems to proliferate in a way long gone in South East Asia) or the plight of the fisherman of Trincomalee persisting with more traditional manually intensive fishing methods even as international trawlers drag net their bay. Or it’s the gross exploitation of the Tamil tea workers in the plantations of Nuwara Eliya. Or it’s the profound love of cricket.
