Simply, a reflection on how engaging, fundamentally interesting and diverse humanity is. An obvious South East Asian focus because of the amount of my professional life that was spent in this region. So in terms of global diversity, it’s really a bit of a Horton Hears a Who – a microcosm of the true breadth of human diversity.

This said, prescribing to a philosophy espoused by the Dalai Lama – and many others – we are all human and therefore fundamentally the same. As such, in each and any portrait we can see expressions and emotions with which we ourselves can all empathise.
